Saints Peter and Paul Annual Fund Appeal

 We are launching our 2024-2025 Annual Appeal to support the endowment fund for Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School. The Annual Appeal is the primary fundraising effort for our three school endowment funds: Tuition Assistance, Teachers' Supplemental Income, and Capital Improvement. 

 Last year was the first of a multi-year capital campaign to fund the Capital Improvement endowment aimed at restoring our historic elementary building, Wenker Hall.  From your generous contributions, $183,765 was raised which allowed us to complete work on the classroom floors (complete), blinds (on-going), security system (complete), and one (1) out of fourteen (14) vents for AC system. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity!

 This year's funds will continue to support this capital campaign so that we can remain diligent in ensuring a quality learning environment that promotes health, safety, and cleanliness. As we continue our restoration efforts, a new safety measure of a security fence along Ellsworth Street was added to the list of needs to ensure safety and it has quickly emerged as an immediate need. 

 Therefore, this year's goal is to raise $120,000 so a security fence can be installed along the street-side of the parking lot along Ellsworth (north of Wenker Hall and west of the Church). The parish parking lot will remain unchanged.  Any funds available after the installation of this fence will be used to fund continued repairs to vents, teacher bathrooms, and teachers’ lounges. 

 The new security fence will have the same brick pillars and black fence as the existing fence that runs along Benton Ave.  The intent of this layer of security is to add greater protection to students from pedestrian and vehicular flow to our school’s surroundings.  A fence would provide a clear boundary, helping to keep our school community safe and secure.
