Saints Peter and Paul Annual Fund Appeal

We are launching our 2023-2024 Annual Appeal to support the endowment fund for Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School. The Annual Appeal is the primary fundraising effort for our three school endowment funds: Tuition Assistance, Teachers' Supplemental Income, and Capital Improvement.

This year's funds will support the Capital Improvement endowment that will fund the multi-year project of restoring our historic elementary building, Wenker Hall. This year's goal is to raise $120,000 toward this restoration project.

Like a home, school facilities need regular attention and upkeep to continue to operate safely year after year. Through this year's fundraising effort, we will start to implement necessary facility repairs and upgrades to foster a quality learning environment that promotes health, safety, and cleanliness.

Why now?
Our cherished Wenker Hall was built in 1892. In 1911, the school was destroyed by fire, but the outside walls remained and are still part of the school today. With the blessings of our historical buildings come great responsibilities. We must keep them in good repair—not only for the health and safety of our teachers and students who spend so many of their days in this historic building but also to preserve our exceptional heritage for the future. Completing this work will help ensure a quality educational space for our students and teachers now and for generations to come.

What will the restoration include?
This restoration will include urgent and essential upgrades including a new HVAC system, security cameras, updated and repaired teachers' bathrooms, replacement of window blinds, and improved classroom flooring. The restoration project will start this year and run for consecutive years until the work is complete. Updates will be provided to our SSPP community as the funds for this project are raised, and work is started and completed.
