Amy Boone comes to us with 11 years of teaching experience at both Catholic and public schools in the Chicagoland area. She has a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s in elementary education from National Louis University. She is currently pursuing an ESL Endorsement Program which she expects to complete this summer. She infuses next-generation science standards to encourage creativity and higher-order thinking from her students, integrating her visual arts background into a 21st-century learning experience. She works hard to create a positive relationship with her students so they are comfortable learning, yet challenged to their individual learning style. Amy has worked the last two years in public education supporting a vast array of differentiated ability levels, and is thrilled to be back in the Joliet Diocese where her deep faith and love of Jesus can shine brightly!
