Gerrie Pacana returns to Saints Peter and Paul as a Junior High aide. Her love of Catholic education has kept her involved with SSPP as a mom, staff member and grandmother of Saints Peter and Paul students. She feels extremely blessed to again work with the outstanding staff members at SSPP.
Mrs. Pacana attended Catholic schools from K-College starting at St. Mary of Celle in Berwyn, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Westchester and Dominican College in Racine. She received her B.A. in English Education from Loyola University in Chicago. After teaching in Forest Park, Florida and substitute teaching while raising her son and daughter, she missed the Catholic school environment. Her son, Geoff (class of 1990), and daughter, Stacey (class of 2000), had wonderful experiences during their time at Saints Peter and Paul, Benet Academy, Benedictine University and Saint Louis University enriching and sharing their faith. Now her grandchildren are fortunate to be experiencing the same loving and faith filled environment here at Saints Peter and Paul where they are able to learn and share their love for Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Pacana lives in Naperville with her husband, Ed. They travel often to Ballwin, Missouri to visit their daughter’s family and granddaughter who attends Holy Infant grade school. This summer a grandson will be arriving there to further enrich their lives. They love spending time with immediate and extended family and traveling.
