Mrs. Domagola is a graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul School and Benet Academy. She and her husband Mike, are long time Sts. Peter and Paul parishioners. Mike and Karen are staunch believers in Catholic Education, their three children attended Sts. Peter and Paul, Benet Academy and all went on to Catholic Colleges. She holds a BS in Marketing awarded from Eastern Illinois University. Mrs. Domagola’s first career was in technology, she was a Project Manager and Marketing Communications Professional at Lucent Technologies. She had a mid- career shift and holds a MA in Special Education from Lewis University.
Currently in her 15th year of teaching, Mrs. Domagola has found her home at Sts. Peter and Paul school. Working as a Resource Teacher, she is able to share her love of learning and her strong faith with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
“Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me” is her favorite bible verse. Mrs. Domagola believes that all life is precious and each day a gift from God.
“It’s amazing to watch these little ones grow into strong, independent, faith-filled young men and women,” said Mrs. Domagola. “I believe each child is a gift from God, and precious. I pledge each day to do what is best for the child entrusted to my classroom.”
