Kathy McHugh is a lifelong resident of Naperville, and parishioner of Saints Peter & Paul Church. Although she did not attend Saints Peter & Paul School, she did attend Religious Education classes with SSPP. (Never taking anything out of the desks!) You may remember Mrs. McHugh in her past years of being a teacher’s aide and her work on the Virtue’s Program. She is excited to be back in the classroom as an instructional aide in 4th and 5th grades!
Mrs. McHugh is a born teacher and has taught 3rd, 5th and 6th grade religious education, teaches cooking to 3rd - 6th grade girls with the Seasoned Smiles Cooking Club, and leads 8th grade girls in Confirmation study discussions. Her commitment to spreading the message of God’s love and mercy shows in all she does.
For nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37
Mrs. McHugh wants everyone to know the meaning of life; why are we here? To know God, to love God and to serve God in this life, so we can be happy with Him forever in Heaven. God made each of us for a special purpose. Living the virtues will help us grow closer to God and discover what His will is for our life and ultimately help get us to Heaven. She hopes to achieve this through the Virtue’s Program that she helped begin at SSPP.
