Megan and her husband, Justin, moved to Naperville in 2011 and have loved being a part of the Saints Peter and Paul parish and Naperville community since that time. It has been a wonderful place to raise her children, Kaelyn (6th grade), Braden (5th grade), and Clara (Kindergarten). She says that she could not have asked for a better experience than the one they have encountered at Saints Peter and Paul.
Megan graduated from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. She then received her masters in Reading Specialization from Concordia University in 2009.
Megan has eight years of experience as a classroom teacher at the elementary level, the majority of which were in kindergarten. After teaching for eight years, Megan was lucky enough to take on the role of stay-at-home mom for her three children. Watching her children learn and grow and being a part of their development has brought her so much joy.
Now that Megan’s children are all in school full-time, she felt it was the perfect opportunity to return to a profession that she loves. Megan believes that all learners are unique. Teachers are given the important job of getting to know each learner and striving to develop the whole child in a nurturing and engaging environment. Megan is thrilled to be a part of the Preschool Program at Saints Peter and Paul and cannot wait to begin!
